My name is Liza Souza and I'm a local girl, born & raised in Hawaii. I joined the State Farm ohana in 2008 as an office manager for my husband's agency. This was going to be our family business. In 2016, my husband had a sudden heart attack and passed away. I was at a major crossroad in my life...do I move to be with my family on another island or do I take over the business?

On August 1st, 2017, I became a State Farm Agent. Looking back, I couldn't have made a better decision. I love what I do, I love servicing my community and helping others manage the risks of everyday life. I love the company I represent, State Farm Insurance.

My agency is located in beautiful upcountry Maui. Our goal is to make all our customers feel like family, to hold the essence of the "Aloha" spirit and to provide professional guidance and exceptional service. My team is friendly, professional, and they all provide great customer service.

We are LOCAL! Our agency has supported local food drives, delivered lunches to our local fire fighters, and donated to local sporting events. We're always looking for ways to support our community. When I'm not in my office, I'm with my three children and dog (Lilikoi). We enjoy anything to do with the ocean; fishing, surfing, diving, and just hanging out. My passion is dancing Hula...I started dancing Hula at the age of five and still dance today.

What I'm most proud of is being a female, a single parent, and a business owner.
